Dandelions
I know that lots of people consider them weeds, but I like to think of them as masterful plants capable of turning a lawn into a bit of a wildflower meadow. It’s all in one’s perspective, right?
You have to admit, that the yellow blossoms are cheerful, and when they go to seed, the white fluff dazzles in the sunlight.

I have fallen in love with dandelions this year! I remember loving them as a youngster, beforing believing the propaganda about weeds. The entire plant is edible and good for liver and kidney health too. I dug up some roots to make tea. … It went ok. It’s bitter so there was some honey involved. Dandelions are one of the first plants that bees go to in the spring. Robert was not convinced about letting our yard become a dandelion patch.
