Currently we are anticipating our home rowing regatta tomorrow! The Banana looked at the weather and said, “Do you think we are actually going to have good weather for the first time in a decade?” I said, “I think so!” She told me not to say another word in case I might jinx it! Our regatta has been plagued by windy conditions or poor air quality for years on end, so good rowing weather would make the day so much better tomorrow.
Mr. TOF is working on his online summer class that he is taking because of a scheduling problem due to participation in jazz band next year.
The Banana is working hard on her calculus 2 class that she is taking during July and August to get it out of the way for her next years at college. I listen to the professors droning on as they explain the problems, and it sounds like a completely foreign language. But I do recognize a few math words now and then.
Peanut Maximus is listening to an audiobook on repeat, because that’s how three year olds do audiobooks. He’s also building a soccer field in his bedroom while he is supposed to be napping.
There is a blooming bush on the south side of the house that has the most sweet, fragrant flowers in full bloom, and it is lovely.
I’m DREADING the heat wave coming our way starting tomorrow. Ick.
