Visiting Grandma Robbie

Peanut Maximus and I took a road trip to see Grandma Robbie (with a super short hello-and-goodbye stop both ways to say hi to Grandma Kathy too). Peanut Maximus loved playing with all of Grandma’s toys, and getting to run the hose to help water the flowers. He drew with chalk on the super smooth new concrete in the machine shed, and even did a tiny little bit of bike riding in the driveway.
Uncle Joey and Cousin Connor zipped out to the farm to spend the night, and they played catch, threw frisbees and even kicked a soccer ball around a bit.
Before bed Grandma hosted a little Smore snack over in her gazebo, and when Peanut Maximus mentioned that he was very thirsty, she suggested having a drink from the hose. Cousin Connor helped get it started, but it didn’t take long for the hose, in the hands of a crafty preschooler to get turned on him, and a delightful game of chase-the-cousin ensued. Connor was a really good sport and didn’t mind getting a little wet. The shrieks of joyful laughter were pretty contagious.
We even had a little visit from Great Auntie Nannie in the afternoon on Saturday.
