Summer Night

YaYa is returning tomorrow from her week at Bible camp.  It seems like she’s been gone a terribly long time, but her absence has left these two with plenty of play time together.  It’s been fun to watch them work together on projects and invent their own adventures.  Sunday night they were playing so well when we got home from delivering YaYa to camp that I just let them play outside until the sun set, and they had a marvelous time together, zipping all around the yard.  The light was golden.  The air was fresh and calm, and it felt like a true, carefree summer night.

Bunny ears are all the rage around here, in case you haven’t noticed.

I use to find that so irritating that your brother used to do that to you on every picture, boys will be boys.

Uncle Thomas and Grandma use to have a can that looks just like your cat. He was the best cat. People in the neighborhood came by to pet the big gray cat. Everyone loved him. It looks like you enjoy your cat. I miss our cat.
