At Grandma Kathy’s House

The kidlets stayed with Grandma Kathy while I went to be with my family and attend my grandma’s memorial service.  As always, there were many things to do at Grandma Kathy’s house.  They helped feed the horses, played with Dot’s dog, revisited all their favorite toys, took baths in the wonderful claw foot tub, dined at Pizza Corner and played in the playroom there, and spent some quality time together with Cousin Alex and Baby Katherine, who is more of a toddler than a baby now.  They also went sledding and thrifting, which you will hear more about soon.

Here are the two lovely Katherines!  Baby Katherine has the most beautiful head of curls on a toddler that you’ve ever seen in your entire life, I guarantee.  She’s incredibly charming, and I have big plans of spoiling her in the future, which will pretty much involve letting her have everything she wants.  (Dot says if I try that she’ll retaliate, so I might have to get sneaky!)

It was so fun to watch Cousin Alex and Mr. TOF play together.  Although they always have their moments, as all good toddlers who are learning to share with one another do, I love how Mr. TOF waits and waits to see Alex.  He talks about him all the time and loves to remember what he did with his busy cousin.  Spending time with Alex is always a wonderful adventure, full of spontaneity.
