Broken Toe
The Banana had a run in with a piece of furniture in a neighbor’s house yesterday afternoon. The furniture won.
Dr. Peds suspected that her toe might be broken, and it turns out that he surmised correctly. This morning he took her in to have it checked, and an Xray showed a break. She was sent back to school in a stabilizing boot, but after an orthopedic doctor looked at the Xray, she was called back in for more X-rays, whereupon it was determined that it would be necessary to have a full cast. Since it was Friday she got two colors! She picked pink and lime green. It looks pretty snazzy!
It does not appear that she will be running the 5K race she had been training for, though. Bummer.

Oh, no, What a bummer, will she have to have the cast on for a long time? Tell her Gramma will be sending he a care package to help her get through this. Love to all of the kiddos
