• Farmland Returns

When we brought down the Christmas decorations last week, we brought Farmland down from the attic as well. Farmland is an exersaucer-type baby apparatus that is a complete two decades old. Can you believe I’ve had it sitting in my attic for TWELVE years!?! After Mr. TOF outgrew it, I…

  • Zonked

He sleeps so nicely when he’s attached to a person. If someone is holding him, he will nap for hours. If he is snuggled into his bassinet, he lasts fifteen minutes.

  • Practice

When your mom is helping your brother with the viola, and your sister needs to practice her harp, you get a close up view! Peanut Maximus still loves being next to someone who is practicing, or in the middle of a few people practicing different instruments.

  • An Afternoon with the Comics

One of the highlights of every visit from Grandma Kathy is that she saves all of the comics sections from her newspaper and brings a whole stack for everyone to enjoy. Even Peanut Maximus is a fan!

  • Chalkboard Art

I asked YaYa if she would please draw a nativity scene on the outdoor chalkboard when she was home for Thanksgiving, and she made this by flashlight in the dark! I am loving looking at it every day out the window of the family room.

  • Scenes from Thanksgiving

Grandma Kathy, Auntie Dot and the Cousins arrived on Tuesday night for Thanksgiving and the long weekend. They brought YaYa with them. We had kids around the bend and in every corner, and it was terrific. There were board games, sword fights outside, shopping trips to every thrift store in…

  • Officially an Adult

The Devious Snail celebrated a birthday on Thanksgiving Day. We started the day out with nine siblings and cousins in the bathtub for a breakfast of bagels with cream cheese. It was standing room only! Because it was so crowded in the bathtub, most people headed downstairs to the dining…

  • Superfans!

Last night The Banana, Mr. TOF and I bundled up and headed downtown to see the Devious Snail march in the Christmas City of the North Parade. It was cold and windy, but we put on a lot of layers and it was just fine. We left Peanut Maximus with…

  • Three Months

I’m a little late with an update about Peanut Maximus. He’s growing, growing, growing! The past few weeks he’s gotten less scrunchy, which makes him seem so very long. He’s been long from the start, even in the very first ultrasound measurements. He’s also gotten so much more coordinated, and…
