Sunday Afternoon Snow Forts

The weather was remarkably warm on Sunday, which turned the snow into the perfect sculpting medium.  In the early afternoon our neighbors halfway down the street popped over and snow construction commenced.  Many hands make for light work, and they had the assembly line down pat.

Mr. SP elected to work on his own with an empty cat litter bucket as a mold.

The Dads offered occasional assistance, and found some bottles of gatorade in the back of Dr. Peds’ truck.

Mr. SP was the only kidlet who noticed the Gatorade, and when he asked to have one, Dr. Peds said, “You can have as much as you drink before someone else notices you have it.”  It turns out that this kid can guzzle at a remarkable rate.  That bottle was gone in under 30 seconds.  Probably under 20 seconds.  I don’t think he stopped at all to breathe.

Did I mention that there were snowballs involved?  At one point there was an epic snowball fight.
