Visiting North Dakota Friends
I picked the middle kidlets up from Grandma Kathy’s house last Wednesday, and we headed to Bismarck for a sleepover at the house of one of my dearest friends. It was a special evening because another one of my best friends drove there for the evening as well, and while the three moms were having a wonderful time talking in the kitchen, the kids were off playing together. With these friends I feel like we can just pick up wherever we left when we saw each other last. Our conversations are free and meaningful, and full of the stuff that makes good friendship in every sense. What was even more fun for me on this visit, is seeing a gaggle of my favorite kids step into doing things together even though they are of all sorts of mixed ages and haven’t seen each other for a very long time. I love ALL of these kids so dearly. I have such great memories of taking care of my friend’s kids when they were toddlers and babies, and it is crazy how they are all growing up! CRAZY. But good at the same time.
YaYa missed out because she was at music camp, but she was having a great time there too.
I didn’t take very many pictures because I was so busy talking.
