Auntie Erin’s Stylish Shoes

Over the weekend we had lots of family and some friends around.  Dr. Peds invited some of his fishermen relatives and friends to embark on a charter fishing trip on Lake Superior.  The weather was terrible, and nearly all of them ended up very, very seasick, but it was still fun to see everybody.

While all of the boys (except Mr. Sneaky Pants) were fishing, all of the girls went out for breakfast at one of my favorite restaurants, a little Scandanavian place that opened up downtown.  They make the most delicious food there, and it is so reasonable.  We also zipped in and out of a few shops with Auntie Dot, Auntie Erin, and Grandma Kathy before heading home for afternoon naps.  

Today, all the men left again to do some macho shopping at places like Gander Mountain, and while the rest of us were sitting around visiting, The Banana noticed Auntie Erin's very, very stylish shoes.  She asked me to take a picture of them, and Auntie Erin was so tickled that she offered to let The Banana try on the fancy shoes for the photograph.  The Banana had her charm on full blast all weekend.
