Although I am still tweaking things here and there, through a series of trial and error, I learned to install a new theme for my blog and customize changes to it.
At the piano, I have just about completely learned that violin accompaniment that I’ve been talking about for months (there are still a few issues), but this month I was handed an oboe accompaniment by the resident oboist. It’s Hindemith. It makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. I started learning that, and I probably will be learning it for a few months. To mix things up, though, I did learn two easier and shorter pieces, one by Francis Couperin and another by Diane Raabe.
I learned a nice little etude on the cello, along with a piece by Breval.
For the first time I got to see the casting of a limb in person, and I got a quick refresher in how to cast care during The Banana’s orthopedic visits this month.
I was reminded that naps are glorious occasions.
I learned how to make fruit compote. It tastes rather good on chia seed pudding.
I tried apricot goat cheese ice cream for the first time. It might sound a bit odd, but I can assure you, it was divine.
