Six Weeks on the Dot

Squirmy has a cute smile.  Rarely does it actually come with eye contact like this, but after he eats (and spits up) Squirmy will often unleash a series of smiles if (and only if) people coo at him while he’s propped up at just the right angle.  The Banana seems to naturally have the perfect timbre to her voice, so she gets lots of smiles without terribly much effort.  She thinks this is wonderful, of course.  The rest of us have to work hard at using a sing song falsetto voice and coming up with conversation topics that Squirmy likes before we are gifted with the grin.  It’s worth it, though.

To celebrate his six week birthday, Squirmy and I took off in the evening to take some photographs.  You will see more in the near future.  I’m still working on most of them.
