They Built a Fence

On Thursday this duo built a small fence. Off to the side of the house we store many things: extra wood, firewood, wheelbarrows, rainbarrels in the winter, gardening supplies, the outdoor compost bin, etc. It looks a bit untidy from the street, and last fall when I was walking on the sidewalk, I thought to myself, “There has to be a way to hide all that stuff and make it look a little nicer.”

We talked it over and decided that perhaps a small fence that just blocked the view from the street for a bit would be the right idea. Our neighbor did something like this with great success. So on Thursday these two builders extraordinaire built the whole thing. Mr. TOF was so excited to be helping and to have a project to work on. He especially liked filling in the post holes with cement. He’s also great with a level and a measuring tape.
