Math Application
Dr. Peds has been busy building birdhouses for our backyard. Every year we paint birdhouses, which I usually purchase at the craft store. A few weeks ago the craft store was closed, and I asked if Dr. Peds might be up for a project. He is making sturdy birdhouses that are way better than anything I might have found at the craft store. In the process, kidlets have been helping with sawing, sanding, nailing, etc. The Devious Snail got a chance (or maybe more accurately — was mandated) to apply his math skills to the calculations for the roof angles.
