Walking Home from the Park

Our neighborhood raised money to install a playground in our park this summer, and we have been appreciating our newfound ability to walk to the park and have fun playing.  The park has always been a wonderful little park on a grassy square that rolls downhill, with a view of sparkling blue Lake Superior between the trees.There just wasn’t much to do there before the playground.  It is so nice having a playground nearby, and the big kidlets are always excited to get out of the house and go play there.  I love The Banana in these images, swinging her sweater  while trying to keep up, and getting some help from Ya Ya.
