Worker Guy

He’s my best worker guy! Persistent and consistent, he just does a great job. I’ve even given him a raise for his lawn mowing success!

We hadn’t mowed the lawn for a long time because it had been dry, dry, dry. There were patches of green grass slowly growing, and clumps of weeds here and there that hadn’t had attention for so long that they were blooming profusely. I held off from having him mow the lawn until we got a rain because I knew if we mowed when it was so dry that the parts of the lawn that were green would turn all crunchy and brown. It all worked out great because after the rain there was a perfect day for lawn mowing.

Best of all, my worker guy was excited to get a move on the job at hand because he had requested a pair of ear protection headphones for his birthday so that he could listen to . . . . you guessed it . . . BASEBALL! It’s a great deal because I know that his ears are safe. He’s happy. I’m happy.

In fact, he likes the ear protection headphones so much that he just wears them around the house to listen to baseball even when he’s not working. I also count this as a win, as it is silent for the rest of us!
