2021 Sunday Night at the Beach: Edition 11

Since they will be in choir rehearsals every Sunday evening starting this week, I let them pick the beach for our Labor Day weekend Sunday night excursion, and they unanimously choose the sandy beach. They swam, turned cartwheels in the water, and ran races in the sand. The Banana brought a book, but I don’t think she actually did very much reading. Mr. TOF was in the water, running on the sand, and jumping down from the sand dunes (no broken bones, thankfully!) the whole time. A big ship steamed out of the Superior entrance to the harbor, and the sunset was beautiful. It’s always lovely to watch the city lights on the hill begin to twinkle as the dark descends. On the way home we got pizza, which literally seemed to take forever, but it all worked out in the end even though I was a little stressed out about nobody getting their tasks finished for the night.
