The Banana will swim in her first varsity sectional meet next Thursday, and needs to wear a tech suit. She tried borrowing one from a friend, but it wasn’t small enough, so we ended up ordering a smaller size. When it came, it looked like her six year old cousin might have trouble fitting into it! I’m learning so much about swimming this autumn season. For example, if a tech suit fits correctly, it takes more than 20 minutes to actually squeeze your body into one, and you can only wear it for a short time. The suit did fit, actually, believe it or not. She’s excited to try swimming in it this week.

It’s been so fun to watch her get faster and faster all fall, not to mention discover that long distance swimming is something she is good at even though she had never tried it before.
