2022 Sunday Night at the Beach: Edition 10
Somehow Mr. TOF did not make it to the sandy beach all summer! He was insistent that we go there for Sunday Night at the Beach, since it could possibly be the last beach trip on Sunday night for the season. There was a brisk east wind moving bigger waves toward the shore, and a beach warning which prevented swimming. Nevertheless, there was lots of running in the sand.
Ironically, because she had been working at the pool in the afternoon, The Banana was wearing her lifeguard uniform on a day when lifeguards would be on full watch. Someone had discarded the mirrored sunglasses in the sand and forgotten them She thought they made the perfect touch for her outfit.
The Devious Snail was away with friends, and YaYa had left for fall already, so there were only two siblings who can stand for a picture. Peanut Maximus was cozied up next to me in the moby wrap, away from the wind.
On the way to the beach we stopped to get Vitta Pizza and ate it at a stoplight while we were waiting for the bridge to go back down. We stayed at the beach until it got dark and the lights of the city started popping out on the hillside.
