Listening
- I have been loving Voces 8: Home. Seriously, it has moved me to tears so many times the last few weeks. It’s truly beautiful music, and sung so very well.
- Dvorak.
- This Audiobook has been excellent.
Reading
- O. Henry Prize short stories. I’m interrupted so much these days that sometimes a short story is just the way to go.
- Back issues of Poetry Magazine that I found at the Used Library Sale.
- All the toddler board books. Every day.
- I just finished Prayer in the Night by Tish Harrison Warren. I loved it so much.
- The latest Dory Fantasamagory book made me laugh so hard I cried.
Enjoying
- This has been an amazing month of terrific performances. I loved the last symphony concert. The Banana had a great school orchestra concert last week. Mr. TOF and I went to an amazing brass quartet performance yesterday, and a friend of mine is singing in a Requiem concert next weekend that I’m hoping to attend.
- Warm November weather! Hooray! I’ll take it.
- Sunshine. It has been so very grey these past few weeks, when the sun does finally peek out, it is fully appreciated. Plus, the directional light of November is always beautiful.
Anticipating
- I am so looking forward to singing Rutter’s Gloria with the Arrowhead Chorale next month.
- We are getting ready to celebrate Thanksgiving at our house with lots of extended family visiting. I can’t wait to see my big kidlets that have been far away for months.
