An Easter Dress as Gramma Robbie Never Intended

Apparently The Banana was in search of the perfect costume for a pirate girl yesterday morning.  Although she never mentioned anything to me, it seems that she needed something that twirled, something with pizazz.  Something that she could dance in, yet would be practical on the high seas of the tropics.  It was time to raid the big sister's closet.

I about snorted my milk up my nose when The Banana came blasting through the kitchen dressed in Sarah's Easter dress from two years ago (too short for Sarah, but fitting The Banana perfectly around the middle). The dress was on inside out and backwards.  How she ever got the thing zipped, I'll never know.  She growled "ARRRRRRRRRRR!"  In her most aggressive pirate voice, and flashed Mr. Sneaky Pant's shiny sword all about.

Mr. Sneaky Pants followed close behind.  He was dressed like a scuba diver.  I'm told he was a pirate scuba diver, of course.  He had along his own sword in case he needed to battle the sharks in the sea.

OH, what a wonderful pirate she does make. Glad the dress has come in so handy, for church or pirate ship it matters not as long as it is enjoyed. Love the aggression on her face, hardly looks like Hannah at all.

I agree with your mom, she doesn’t look like a little toddler girl anymore! She looks all grown up! When did she turn into her big sis? She is probably close to the age S. was when we left Bmck? I didn’t used to think she looked like her sister, but especially that last picture she really does! 🙂
