Thrift Find!

Look what I found at the thrift store last Friday, when I went in to buy a bag of random yarn for a project at church! It’s a classroom/library children’s picture book display! It was only $5 dollars, and I’ve wanted one for forever! I snatched it right up. It’s big. It’s heavy. Dr. Peds thought I was absolutely crazy wandering around with it precariously balanced on my cart and even more ridiculous for bringing it home. But at the amazing price of $5, he could not argue, and just rolled his eyes with a smirk.
It’s proof that the best thrifting treasures always surface when you are least expecting them!
Although it would be perfect in the family room where playing happens the most, there isn’t really a spot for it there. I first made Mr. TOF carry it up to my office, but it just wasn’t quite right for that space. Then I tried it at the end of the couch in the piano room. It was still not quite right, so I moved it to the dining room and put it next to the other random bookshelf in the dining room, and now it feels good. I might have to add more bookshelves in the dining room to make it feel even better! Ha!
It makes me so happy to walk through the dining room and have these artistic covers greet me!
Peanut Maximus is enjoying it too!
