Early on Sunday morning I was sitting on the couch next to Peanut Maximus. We were about to get up to go about our Sunday morning routine, and I leaned back and stretched my back. Then Peanut Maximus also leaned back to stretch his back.
Peanut Maximus: Mama, why do I not make any sounds when I stretch my back?
Me: What do you mean?
Peanut Maximus: Well, when you stretch, you make sounds.
Me: Do you mean I make a sound with my voice? (I was thinking maybe I grunted or something).
Peanut Maximus: No, that snapping and popping sound!
Me: Oh! Well, I think that you probably only make snapping and popping sounds when you are getting old, not when you are a preschooler.
Peanut Maximus: Hmmmm.
