Some Things I’m Loving

  • I recently discovered this daily poetry website and I have really been enjoying their selection of poems. They also have a poetry chapbook contest and the winner is published each year. I ran across a bunch of the chapbooks at the library booksale, and I’ve been loving those too!
  • My neighbor has a late turning bush that still has bright orange leaves and it is radiant in the afternoon. I love looking out the window and seeing it.
  • Both the high school girls and boys soccer teams made it to state semi-finals, and Mr. TOF is excited about the pep band getting to play in Bank Stadium. I’m loving his excitement. Pep band just makes sense for this athletic-loving musical kid.
  • Autumn evening light is truly gorgeous. I’m trying to savor it whenever I can.
  • I have a new cozy sweatshirt that I’ve been loving. It is so soft and comfortable.
  • Peanut Maximus calls frisbees “squidsbees.” I love it so much.
  • I’ve been loving autumn walks through the forest.
  • We’ve had some crazily dense foggy days lately, and I love fog.
  • Sometimes after I sing the goodbye song at Sunday School music in the preschool room, a bunch of kids run up to be and give me hugs. I love it.
