Visiting Rhonda

While we were in North Dakota, my friend Siri and I took a road trip north to visit my friend Rhonda, who recently had a baby.  It was a great trip.  Siri and I had so much fun chatting on the car ride, whieh involved quite a few detours because of flooding and some interesting places were we needed to drive through water on the road.  I hadn’t been to Rhonda’s house since she moved away from Bismarck, and her house is awesome, of course.  She has some amazing decorating skills that I would LOVE to somehow channel, not to mention that she is one of those people who just is naturally clean.  She’s clean with out even thinking about being clean.  It was really fun to see where she lives, to cuddle a tiny baby, and meet her fourth child, too, whom I hand’t actually met in person before the trip, and with whom I am seriously smitten with.  There were a lot of toddlers that we got to visit on our trip.  Every single one of them was so different!  I loved seeing each one, and THIS one gets the prize for beautiful eyes, curly hair, and being an amazing grown up big sister.

There were baby presents to open, lunch to eat, goats to meet (they keep three hilarious goats)  and lots of great conversations to have.

I got to feed the baby and she did not spit up AT ALL.  Unbelievable.  She just chowed down on her bottle and that was the end of that.  She’s one mellow, laid back baby.  (You just never can predict what you’re going to get, can you?)

We visited all afternoon, and as much as I could, I took pictures.  Lots of pictures.  You can see most of the collection by clicking on over to the photography business blog.

I miss having my super great friends close by, but I’m excited about some future plans we have to meet up this summer with ALL of our kids together.  (That’s 13 kids!)
