Watering Can Man

These days Mr. Trouble on Feet relishes being outside.  Nearly every waking hour of the day he is asking to go outside, signing “boots” and “coat” and pointing out the window in a most dramatic fashion.  In addition to swinging and playing with the chalk and jumping in any available puddles, he has taken a particular liking to this green watering can.  YaYa worked with him to fill it up from the spurts of the sump pump hose, and he just had the best time sprinkling things with it and dragging it around the yard signing “water.”

Have I mentioned that his new favorite word is “No” ?  He says it so sweetly right now. I ask him a question and he looks at me with this perplexed facial expression and says, “no” so matter of factly, like, “of course not, silly Mama.”  It’s really cute and makes me giggle.

Fear not, however.  When he needs to get his point across more emphatically, he can throw an expert colossal temper tantrum of epic proportions.  Listen carefully and you can probably hear him screaming a few states away.  Since he’s the fourth child though, everyone kind of just ignores his tantrum and goes about their business, and then he just kind of stops because no one is paying any attention to his theatrics.  At least no one in his own family.
