Introducing The Fairy Princess, The Brave Knight, and The Royal Chicken

It turns out that she lays golden eggs, and is very valuable to the King, Queen and Princess, so they pay their favorite knight a lot of gold, bags and bags of gold, to keep her safe and protected.  She lays many golden eggs on her birthday.

She’s a happy and delightful fairy, but has a bit of trouble flying.  If her fairy galoshes get lost in the snow, she becomes distraught, and lets everyone in the forest know about it. Loudly.

He’s brave.  He’s tough.  (Until his feet get cold).  He protects the royal chicken and the royal family from the vicious, enormous ice dragon, who brings havoc to the royal land in the dead of winter.

We had a fantastic time dressing up for a very short jaunt into a small patch of forest in the late afternoon.  However, at the end of the experience, when the snow in the fairy’s galoshes started to melt into her pixie socks, things turned a bit tumultuous.  But, we’ll look at the bright side, and proclaim that for 17 minutes, we were having the time of our lives!
