An Afternoon of Zoob

These Zoob blocks were really their Christmas present. but we were so overwhelmed with material items and traveling at Christmas that I decided to just wait and give it to them sometime later in the winter.  Since we were having an “at home” day for the most part on Saturday, I pulled them out, and the kidlets were quite delighted.  They created all afternoon.  Zoob pieces are very similar, except each colored piece is just a bit different, and there are several different ways to connect them that allow for different movements.  Actually, the blocks came with a plethora of plans to create all sorts of really neat contraptions, but the kidlets, like their mother, don’t really enjoy following a plan. They’d rather do their own thing.  Mr. Sneaky Pants, for example, spent hours creating a fortress that had all sorts of grey X’s to keep out the enemy.  I’m not sure Ya Ya decided what  exactly she was making, but she really had fun doing it.
