What I Learned in August

  • If I want to get a lot of work done, I really need to put on a pair of pajamas.  I know that most people feel they are more productive when they dress for success, but it simply isn’t the case for me.  If I have a lot of work ahead, I put on some pajamas and plow ahead.  (This is why locals see me in pajamas pretty much anywhere.  I have no shame.)
  • I am improving my cello playing in third and fourth positions, but I have a long list of struggles in numerous other areas.  So, I am learning to be patient!  Patient!  Patient!  I learned several new pieces on my cello.
  • I learned to use Kelvin to set a white balance on my camera in a pinch.
  • It’s a lot of fun to kayak with my kids.
