Sunday Night at the Beach: Watching a Short Sunset

After the mud obstacle course on Sunday, some kids elected to go to the beach for a few minutes, and some elected to stay home and do some additional showering before practicing their instruments and squaring away any unfinished homework.  The sun mostly hid behind a large shelf of clouds, but at the very last minute peeked out for a fast and furious sunset that was brilliant.  These kidlets who came to the secret beach were tired.  One also had to go to the bathroom.  It wasn’t the most peaceful trip to the beach, and it was quick, but I still loved the sound of the water and getting to see the sun set.
