My Sweet Little One

We were walking out of preschool, and I squeezed my boy’s hand.  I love the feel of little fingers.   “I love holding your hand!  When you go to school will you still hold my hand?”

He said to me, “Mama, I’ll hold your hand even when I’m 100.”

Side note:  I’m so happy the front steps are fixed!  The brick had been crumbling away and the right side was partially dismantled for more than a year because Dr. Peds started fixing it but found big problems that really meant the best course of action was to simply redo the entire front steps.  The new steps look just like the old ones should have looked like, which is exactly what I wanted.  I just love looking up the sidewalk and seeing the steps complete again.
