What I Learned in November

  • It turns out I love listening to poetry being read aloud even in languages I don’t understand, like Norwegian, Finnish, and Danish.  There’s just that beautiful lilt to the words as they rush and slow, and I love the vowel sounds in Scandinavian languages.
  • My kids can make an enormous mess faster than I can even fathom.  Thankfully, they are getting a bit more efficient at cleaning up those messes.
  • God can stretch and multiply time when He chooses.
  • I made strides in learning to play my cello with more bow flexibility.
  • From the stories that Dr. Peds brought back from Haiti, I learned a bit of Haitian culture and what life is like there.
