St. Patrick’s Day

I’m a week behind.  Sigh.  That’s kind of how my whole year is going!  The kidlets woke up excited for St. Patrick’s day, but it was a morning parenting fail, because we had no green food coloring, which meant no green milk, and no green pancakes.  In fact, I was missing several ingredients for pancakes, so they didn’t even get regular pancakes.  They had to make do with boring old toast or granola and yogurt.  I was not popular.  Not popular at ALL.

Thankfully, by supper time we had procured green food coloring, and they had a pancake feast.

Dr. Peds dressed for success, impressing several of his colleagues at a meeting at the hospital.  He also cooked a special Irish lunch to share with  neighbors.

There was a bit of afternoon leprechaun jumping.  Mr. TOF was especially excited about going to school in his green shirt and a shamrock baseball cap he borrowed from his dad.  He was pretty adorable.
