All Tuckered Out

Mr. TOF had a terrific first week at kindergarten.  His stamina amazed me.  He bounced right out of bed with the sunrise all week, practiced piano before breakfast, and was super organized and responsible about his lunch box, backpack, homework folder.  He loves his teacher.  He loves his class.  He especially loves gym, and art class was a lot of fun too.  He seemed to have boundless energy all week long, but Friday afternoon, my little guy was tired.  I came back from The Banana’s violin lesson and found him curled up in the chair.  It seemed that when nothing was going on and he stopped moving . . . he fell fast asleep.  He slept for hours.  He woke up and fell back asleep next to me on the couch.  I made a late supper and read a couple of stories to him, and he yawned the whole time and went to bed without a complaint.

I did not complain about the extra sleepy snuggles.
