At the Trampoline Park
I also tried jumping off trampolines into the foam pit, something I’ve always wanted to do. But I was kind of disappointed. I didn’t bounce very far, and I didn’t like landing in the foam pit! It didn’t hurt, but it wasn’t a sensation I enjoyed. Plus, it was very hard for my middle aged body to climb OUT of the foam pit. In addition, my socks kept feeling like they were going to fall off. It sort of felt like getting stuck in a pit of mud.
My favorite part was really just jumping on the trampolines. I didn’t do anything fancy, just jumping. It was actually really great for my abdominal muscles. And I wasn’t the only middle aged mom jumping!
Here are some pictures of the clear climbing walls. Cousin Katherine loved the climbing wall, and The Banana and Mr. TOF had a great time racing each other as well. Baby Cousin Elizabeth (she’s two now, so I don’t think I can get away with calling her “Baby Cousin” much longer) and YaYa were trampoline park buddies, and even she got hooked into the harness to do a little climbing.
