Getting Around Town

He’s recently become a city bus rider.  A few weeks ago he really, really wanted to go to the mail library downtown.  Dr. Peds really didn’t feel like driving him there, so he gave him seventy five cents in quarters for bus fare, and they researched the bus route he would need to take.  Happily, he doesn’t even need to switch buses to get to the library, and the nearest bus stop for that route is only a block or so away.

Dr. Peds went over the procedure for riding public transportation, and what to do if strange things happened on the city bus.

Needless to say, Mr. Sneaky Pants has embraced public transportation in all of its glory.  Every Saturday he now rides the bus to the main library and spends several hours there.  He loves having independence.  He’s been very responsible, and he’s depleted my supply of quarters.
