A Boy and His Knights

He spends nap time EVERYDAY listening to the audio book Ingraine the Brave. (Greg finally downloaded it from itunes and burned him his own copy).  He listens for hours every single day, and he turns on the book during clean up time, at bed time, and when he's playing in his room for fun.  Ingraine the Brave calms him down during a tantrum, and puts the world right.  Often he'll dress up in his knight attire while listening to the story, and he usually has his collection of swords and shields handy and ready at a moment's notice.  Often he sets up his castle and ships and plays with his small knights while he's listening.  He has some still knight figurines that he often plays with, but probably his favorite knights of all are these playmobile knights.  He loves to switch their helmets, horses, and weapons.  He loves divide them into sides, and have them joust and fight the dragons and monsters.  I love to see him playing with them, because they are some of the only toys that he lines up and plays with so carefully; he's normally more of a dress up, gross motor play kind of boy.  Today I came up the stairs at the end of nap and saw that he had lined up all the knights in the window sill.  "Ingraine" was blaring from the stereo.
