Little Aloe Vera Plant

Every Wednesday The Banana has a violin lesson on the other side of town.  After violin we stop quickly at the west-side Coop grocery store to buy four gallons of milk (if they have it) because they carry a not-organic-but-better-than-normal kind of milk from a nearby dairy at a reasonable price.  Unfortunately purchasing full blown organic milk in the quantity necessary for our family is not within our current household  budget.  I’ve taste tested a lot of milk and determined that this particular milk at the Coop is the best version for us.

Anyway, at the Coop after violinThe Banana usually picks out something to eat from the food bar.  They always have some vegetarian option, and she likes to try new things.  If Mr. TOF is along, he sometimes picks out some soup as well.  Sometimes we pick up a few miscellaneous food items we might need for the rest of the week, and sometimes we buy things like shampoo there.  Last Wednesday they had an aloe vera plant!  I’ve been wanting one for a long time, but hadn’t come across any in my outings (I don’t go out much, but I had been keeping my eyes open for an aloe vera plant).  I snatched that little guy right up!  I hope he has a long and prosperous life in my house.
