New Sunglasses

When Grandma Kathy was visiting last week she spent special time with each kidlet.  She took Mr. TOF out to share a reuben sandwich at the bakery.  Grandma and YaYa headed out to eat supper and discuss a book they’ve been reading together.  It’s a longstanding tradition that whenever Grandma visits, she and Mr. SP go out to eat a very large breakfast on Saturday morning at the Duluth Grill.  They even keep notes about what they’ve tried on the menu and what they want to try . . . they have a system all to their own about food choices for Saturday breakfast.

Grandma asked The Banana what she wanted to do, and they decided to go thrift shopping, which they both happen to really love.  They came back with this forty nine cent pair of awesome sunglasses, blue plastic mustache attached.  It’s a hit.  The Banana loves go around pretending to talk like pretend characters, and her favorite is “Konstantine” who has the most hilarious voice and sends us all into stitches when he “appears.”  Seriously,  there have been times I’ve been laughing so hard with “Konstantine” in the car that I’ve nearly had to pull over because of all the tears in my eyes.
