This November

I like the month of November a lot, but this November has been more than slightly chaotic!  Goodness gracious.  I can hardly believe we are two thirds through the month already.  We seem to have flown from one stressful, out-of-the-ordinary event to the next, all month long.

This week we are preparing to host Thanksgiving for Dr. Peds’ side of the family.  We are excited to have a houseful of cousins!  To make matters even crazier, we decided to paint our family room.  We’ve had the paint sitting around for two years, and we’re just getting to it now. I’m very thrilled that it’s actually happening, and I think I’m going to like the new color a lot.  But painting one room means the whole house is in complete disarray, and that chaos is stacked on top of the chaos that was already in every room because we have simply been to busy to keep things in order.  I’m breathing deep, though, and I plan on accomplishing a lot in the next couple of days.  Laundry is going to get done.  Bathrooms are going to get cleaned.  Rooms are going to get organized.  Watch out.  Here I come.
