2010 Adventures in Soccer: Part 3

It was grotesquely humid today.  Thankfully our soccer game was scheduled in the late evening rather than the early evening, and after the first bit the sun was setting and there was a breeze moving the air.  We came armed with a large water bottle and a cooler full of ice cubes.  The ice cubes worked so well at the last soccer game that was hot, I figured it was worth trying again.  We also carried Squirmy, his carseat, the Moby wrap, four lawn chairs and a camera bag.  It takes a lot of gear to be a soccer mom.

The game went well.  Mr. SP scored a few goals, and did a lot of aimless running in mostly the right direction.  He only got stepped on once, and bounced back into the game again after a bit.  (It was traumatizing and dramatic because his skin was a bit scraped from the opponent’s shoe.)
