Camp Aunt Rachel: Session One

We kept a cousin for a week, and it was great fun. Mr. TOF had been greatly anticipating the arrival of Camp Aunt Rachel, since all of the ordinary summer activities are canceled. He was more than delighted to have a cousin to play with all week. We went hiking, visited the beach, went swimming in a river, played at the park (since our playgrounds are now open again), and read books. The Devious Snail conjured up some fun Harry Potter activities, and there was a lot of rough sword fighting in the front yard using baseball bats encased in pool noodles. A great deal of time was spent building things with Legos and other materials, as well as flying remote control helicopters.
