Art Out and About: Visiting the Pond at Bagley
Last week we hopped in the van for another Art Out and About adventure. We didn’t have a destination when I pulled out of the driveway, but by the first corner, the kidlets had decided that we should head to Bagley. We didn’t make it farther than the pond, but that was perfectly fine! There were lots of things to observe and draw. I even painted a watercolor tree! Mr. TOF used oil pastels and pencils, and The Banana worked with colored pencils and some other art supplies.
While we were drawing and painting we heard the marching band practicing, and after we left we drove through the campus to see if we could search them out, (Mr. TOF is still a big marching band fan) but we never did find them.
There was a troop of very comical ducks next to the pond.
Naps for everyone!
