2021 Sunday Night at the Beach: Edition 2

It was the fourth day of a multiple day heat wave, and by the time it was time to leave for the beach, I had gotten cranky. Really, everyone was cranky by that point, but I was especially cranky. We do not tolerate heat well. I especially do not tolerate heat well. It’s always cooler by the beach, and it was. Dr. Peds brought some food and the paddleboard, and while I grouched about not wanting to mess around with bringing food, after I was at the beach for ten minutes I was suddenly very hungry. So was everyone else. I think we just needed a little cool down to function normally.

I don’t have very many pictures even though my camera was out. This was because I was so grouchy that my people kind of just left me alone on a rock next to the water. Good plan. We actually spontaneously found some friends at the beach as well, and so they mostly socialized while I sat on my rock. I was NOT sad to be sitting on my rock alone with a little breeze blowing.

The Devious Snail brought a book and was reading peacefully until he discovered I was taking pictures, and then he walked off out of sight.

The Banana paddled around on the paddleboard and did some swimming.

Mr. TOF threw rocks. Then he threw some more rocks. This kid is ALWAYS throwing things. He took a break and paddled on the paddleboard, and then he threw more rocks.
