Mess of the Week: The Scuba Diving Edition

They got the brilliant idea of scuba diving for treasure underneath Ya Ya's bed.  Of course, they had to dress up for the occasion.  Goggles were a must, along with Mr. SP's wet suit and green plastic flippers for his feet.  The Banana thought a princess dress with red tights would be most appropriate.  They spent the morning searching under the bed, where they came up with a pile of silver candy wrappers that probably came from  confiscated food that Ya Ya had eaten and then stashed the wrappers where I wouldn't see them.   They found about 20 pony tail ties, hair barrettes, dust bunnies, seven cardboard boxes I wasn't supposed to find, dirty laundry, clean laundry, the works.  They took the mattress off the box spring.  They took the curtain off the wall.  There were blankets, dolls, doll clothes, people clothes (dirty and clean) books, papers, and everything you might imagine covering the bedroom floor.  But under the bed, it was clean.  Oh so very clean.  The power of teamwork, my friends.
