Grandma Visits

Grandma Kathy spent the weekend with us! It was lovely to have her. She brought us lettuce from her garden and took special care to take each kidlet out to do something special with her. Mr. TOF went to have a rueben sandwich and ice cream, and the Devious Snail went on a special date with Grandma to have a huge breakfast and visit the local bookstore, both of which are big traditions that they look forward to. The Banana and Grandma went thrift shopping and found many wonderful treasures. We all ate delicious ice cream. There were lots of stories and conversations, and as always, we were sad to see her go back home.
