2021 Sunday Night at the Beach: Edition 7

The Banana didn’t feel like going to the beach. The Devious Snail was working. Dr. Peds and Mr. TOF were at a baseball end-of-the-season celebration, so I ended up heading to the beach all by myself again! I brought a book with me and hiked in to the Secluded beach, where I found the most perfect reading spot nestled in between two giant boulders on some smooth pebbles. You can’t really get perspective from the picture above because I didn’t have the right lens, but the boulders were big and towering over me when I sat down. The water was silky and heaving, which is my favorite! The waves were mesmerizing, and my spot could not have been better because I had the perfect rock to lean on and my body was on dry pebbles, but the waves came right up next to me without splashing one drop on me. The temperature was perfect. The light was beautiful. My book was great.
