A Lot of Box Love

Brutus the Cat loves cuddling up inside of boxes. He likes big boxes, medium boxes, and even if boxes are way too small for him, he still does his best to crawl inside. My good friend gifted us with these amazing stacking blocks (they are so fun!!!) and I was planning on keeping them in the cardboard box that they came in because the box was a great size for storage. However, Brutus fell in love with the box, and after four days of crawling inside this box that was about half the size of his body, the box was basically completely flattened from his napping habits! Seriously, it is like he thinks cardboard is the most fluffy pillow ever. He didn’t care that he didn’t fit into the box; he just wanted to make sure some part of his body was touching the box at all times! It makes me wonder if his mother gave birth to him in a cardboard box. Perhaps he has some innate connection to corrugated cardboard because it makes him safe and secure.
