Conversations: At Supper
The Banana and Ya Ya were enjoying their supper outside on the deck. I was inside feeding Squirmy.
The Banana: Well, pee on me, Ya Ya!
Ya Ya: What?
The Banana: Pee on me.
Ya Ya: What did you just say?
The Banana: PEE ON ME! Ya Ya, it’s another way of saying excuse me.
Ya Ya; Huh?
The Banana: We learned it at school.
Me: (calling out to the deck from inside) Do you mean “Pardon me?”
The Banana: Yeah, yeah that’s it! Pardon me!

I have laughed till I cried on this all day. When I first read it I was at work, and everyone thought something had realy upset me for I had tears running down my cheeks. It was just what I needed, some pure simple innocent words. I can just see the expressions on Ya Ya’s face as this transpired.

Robin your not alone! I also laughed out loud at work while reading this and it gave me the giggles through out the day! I still wish the banana would of stuck with our plan of sneaking her home with me. School always gets in the way of plans!
