Playing Tag

There was a lot of drama on this walk.  There was “my sister pushed me into the creek” drama (although she didn’t actually push him  . . . she just suggested he hop across rocks and he slipped and fell in).  There was “my sister is going to be lost in the woods forever because she’s walking way behind on the trail” drama.  There was “my fingers are freezing you are the meanest mother ever for making us go on this walk drama.”  There was “how much longer are we going to have to walk” drama.  There was “but if I don’t hold on to the stroller I can’t keep up” drama.  (Ever tried to steer a two seat stroller down a bumpy path with two kids jerking it from side to side?)

However, there were also fun moments of chase some terrific bursts of tag, and laughter to go with it.
